| Jesus Walks on the Water
22Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away.
23After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone.
24But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary.
25And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.
26When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, "It is a ghost!" And they cried out in fear.
27But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid."
28Peter said to Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water."
29And He said, "Come!" And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
30But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!"
31Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?"
32When they got into the boat, the wind stopped.
33And those who were in the boat worshiped Him, saying, "You are certainly God's Son!"

This passage has a toll on me. It makes me wonder how many times
I have to prove God to myself. I struggle with doubt and
questions like "Is there really any purpose?" "Why did God want
to deal with this?" But it's because He loves us, and of that I'm
not sure why. But He is always there when we call out to Him to
save us from the waves of sin. We can go forth ONLY through
Jesus. Without Him we will fall through the waters of sin and
drown.
I know that it's possible to drown. God said He won't turn His
back on you, but what about you turning from Him? You can.
Whether you believe there's a God or not doesn't change the fact that
there is. You can't wish Him away. His love is too great
and His Majesty is above all. There is no way we can live without
Him.
I was also thinking to myself about people who say that heaven will be
all boring worshiping God ALL the time. I've had this
thought. But since it's God, and He is perfect, won't heaven be
above all happiness possible? You have never experienced total
joy until you're with Jesus, face to face. But dreaming about it
is inimaginable. God is so great! I can only wonder why He
wants us in heaven with Him. Why does stay even though we
continue to sin. Why does He put up with us? I have no
idea, but I'm so glad He loves us SO much to do so. Isn't God
Awesome!?

| Today was a good day, except for the fact that I was so tired!! I
need to get more sleep, but I figure I can get enough sleep when I'm
dead. jk.

I cannot believe that school is almost over. It almost seems unreal. We're in school for 9 months and then we're off for the summer. But I love it. Friends, camp, and a whole lotta relaxing! Yessssss! 
I'm taking driver's training in August. I can't wait to drive. It'll be great! 
Erica's still getting her stupid migraines. She describes them as something that is eating her from the inside. She can't do what she wants because of them. Please pray for her.

| So I didn't make Chambers (duh..) or Chorale, and ya know, that's just
fine with me. I'll just fill up my Chorale quota when I'm a
senior and lookin' for another class to take, unless I'm still in
Chorale, then I'll do a different one! I'm such a choir
nerd. It's sad, but that's how I was brought up...
